Utah Film Center is offering a unique opportunity for aspiring filmmakers, or just simply film lovers, to assist film teams whose films are in the Sundance Film Festival. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) driving filmmakers around Park City, coordinating airport pickups and returns, assisting in planning and executing parties and events related to the promotion of the film, and running various errands as needed. Interns are required to arrange their own housing in the Park City area, have a car that handles well in the snow, and must be prepared to work extended hours. Local knowledge of Park City and how to navigate backroads is a must. Ideal candidates: have the ability to creatively problem solve, adapt well in stressful situations, have a strong work ethic, are honest, can work independently and with a group, and possess a positive attitude.
Our interns have worked with some notable films
The Great Hack
Knock Down the House
Always in Season
Shooting the Mafia
Step
Icarus
Under the Gun
The Eagle Huntress
Dreamcatcher
The Hunting Ground
Cartel Land
The Invisible War
We ask that the film pay each intern $200 per day plus gas. Duration of employment will depend upon the needs of each film. The Festival will run January 20-January 30, 2022.
Don’t miss out on a chance to work closely with a professional filmmaking team during a world-renowned film festival!
