| DESCRIPTION: |
Introduction to computer software programs specific to graphic design. |
| COURSE OBJECTIVES: |
- Students will learn to apply fundamental design and typographic principles using industry-standard graphics applications: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Students will acquire the necessary design and production skills to produce two conceptual printed pieces: a poster and a CD package.
- Students will practice the skills learned in class on a regular basis with smaller assigned projects.
- Students will develop essential written and oral communication skills to explain and defend your work.
