New Media Storytelling (273)

WHEN TAUGHT: Fall; Winter
PREREQUISITE: TMA 105 & TMA 185. TMA 293 or concurrent enrollment
DESCRIPTION: Principles and techniques of new media production, information gathering, conceptualizing, and storytelling.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: Focus on the digital storytelling process from conceptualization to production to new forms of distribution. Through exercises, discussion, and production using a variety of styles, we will explore how to tell non-fiction stories with an ever-evolving range of new media tools.
