Position summary: As the official videographer for the Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering, you will combine creativity and collaboration to create short documentary-style films, promotional videos, and lecture recordings for the College and its associated departments’ social media channels and websites. In this position, you will be part of a communications team reporting to the Communications Manager.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:
• Filming, editing, colorizing, and sound editing
• Video production for marketing materials, presentations, and social media channels
• Storyboarding and concept visualization
• Brainstorming and pitching video concepts that fulfill objectives
• Accepting assignments and finding creative ways to accomplish objectives
• Video recording and editing of internal events (which may take place outside normal work hours)

Required skills and experience:
• Proficiency with video editing software and film equipment
• Filming, editing, colorizing, and sound editing
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to incorporate others’ ideas and take feedback with grace
• Willingness to come up with own ideas instead of waiting for assignment
