Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District is looking for a Videography Intern. This position will be paid $12-$15 per hour based on experience and will require 15-20 hours per week. Interested candidates may apply on Jordan Valley Water’s website at

Under direct supervision of the Public Information Manager, the intern will help plan, shoot, edit, and animate video projects.  Projects primarily to be short educational, informational, and promotional videos that cover water conservation, landscaping, community relations, water supply, and other related topics. Technical tasks related to production and post-production, through completion.

Hours:  Work 15 to 20 hours per week during business office hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) Monday through Friday.   Occasionally later hours will be required for shoots.

Education:  At least 2 years of college-level coursework in video/film production, digital media, media production, digital film, digital filmmaking or related field.  Utah Driver License required.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:  Must have video editing software skills, specifically Creative Suite with Premier, After Effects, Audition, Encore, etc. Ability to use Canon DSLR Mark II and II, Canon HD camcorder, GoPro4, tripods, mounts, etc.  Basic writing skills with the ability to help draft scripts.
